    Follow these steps to register the msoffice.dll file, and then Office Installer. Sometimes these components are un-registered or corrupt, and re-registering can resolve the issue.

    Step 1: Register the msoffice.dll file

    1. Click the Windows icon (30043-11 office 2016), and then click Run. The Run window opens.
    2. In the Open box, type regsvr32 msoffice.dll, and then click OK.
    3. On the RegSvr32 screen, click OK.
